What is "Live Wedding Painting?"
Simply put, I come to you or your loved one’s wedding and paint whatever special moment you’d like me to capture in real time! I bring all my own supplies: canvas, paint, brushes, easel, etc. The custom painting includes a scene of the newlyweds in their favorite wedding moment and all the lovely details of their day!
When that special moment I’ve been requested to paint occurs (first dance, ceremony exit, exchange of vows- you name it!) I paint fast and take additional reference photos, so I can fully capture the essence of the scene. This is when the painting truly comes to life!

Hi friends! I’m Laura, an artist located just outside of St. Louis, MO.
I’ve had a strong passion for creating since a young age. As a child, people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I always answered “artist.” I graduated with a degree in Studio Art in 2013. After that, I worked as a freelance artist, painting instructor, and high school art teacher. Once I became a mother, I moved into art full-time, and I couldn’t be happier! I absolutely adore the excitement of live painting and capturing people’s special moments on canvas. At this point in my career, I’ve created hundreds of custom paintings for people!
